He was raised in a dental household where he witnessed the joy that his father, the first dentist in Danville, had in treating patients and going to work each day. Dr. Robert Cuenin decided to earn his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of California-Davis. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. He also holds a Master of Science in oral biology and a certificate in orthodontics from the University of California-Los Angeles.
To stay on board with the cutting-edge of these innovative options, Dr. Robert Cuenin continues his education regularly through participation in numerous study clubs, meetings, conferences, and seminars.
After completing his education, Dr. Robert Cuenin returned to the Danville community and started his practice in 1990. To this day, he shares his father's passion for work and dedication to creating the finest smiles.

Dr. Robert Cuenin’s wife, Marina, is a dentist, and they have two children, Taylor and Dr. Kyle Cuenin, who works alongside him.
Dr. Robert Cuenin's favorite pastimes include snow and water skiing, swimming, fly fishing, and mountain biking. He is also involved in community programs, including the Danville Rotary Club, and is a Saint Isidore's Church member.
